Pc Lap Counter work with AMB20, AMB400, AMB9200 and AMBrc decoder:

Since version 4.32 Pc Lap Counter include a interface to read data coming from the AMB20, AMB400, AMB9200, AMBrc and AMBrc3 decoder
AMB decoder can be used for Kart racing and also for RC racing (remote control) , the AMB system work with transponder.

How to configure Pc Lap Counter to work with AMB20,AMB400,AMB9200 or AMBrc decoder:

  • Start Pc Lap Counter normaly.
  • Go in the options screen (click on the ‘options’ bouton).
  • For AMB20 , AMB400 and AMB9200 in the general options choose detector type ‘ AMB20-AMB400-AMB9200 Decoder ’,for AMBrc choose ‘AMBrc’ .
  • Click on the ‘Setup’ button and change the COM port if necessary, default is COM1
  • For AMB9200 tick “It’s a AMB decoder 9200”

How to set a race with a transponder system (since version 4.56 of Pc Lap Counter):

  • Each transponder must be know  in Pc Lap Counter, in Pc Lap Counter the transponder is linked to the car and so it’s important to update the cars database and specify for each the transponder ID:

  • When you set a race the more important is to select the good car for each driver / team because the car will make the link between the transponder ID and the driver

Tips : during the race you can change the transponder ID of each cars/drivers: in the main screen of Pc Lap Counter just click on the “Update...” button and update the transponder ID  (doubleclick on it will open the transponder ID reader window)
