Since version 5.04,  Pc Lap Counter have a interface to read the data coming from the future exoSLOT system which is a dead strip detection system made in FRANCE for analogic track, exoSLOT system will be available soon on the market.
exoTIC systems looks very good and can replace a DS lap counter systems with a lower budget...: 

• You can connect 8 lanes on one exoSLOT box.
• exoSLOT system use a USB port and so it work with new computer.
• You can connect 4 exoSLOT box on one computer (so can manage 32 lanes ! ).
• The lap time is calculated by the exoSLOT system with a big precision ( 1/1000).

In summary, the exoSLOT systems is equivalent to a DS systems but with a lower budget, the price of the exoSLOT system for a 8 lanes track will be +/- 140 EUR (of course this is not the final price and exoSLOT can change it).

How to setup Pc Lap Counter to work with exoSLOT system:

• Start Pc Lap Counter.
• Go in the options screen (click on the “options” button).
• In detector tabpage select “exoTIC systems ” as detector and click on the “OK” button, Pc Lap Counter will start the exoTIC interface and will detect the COM port to use.
